O’ Poor Fellow

Like the wind in the willows
He was gone, O’ poor fellow
Left a mark at my window
Bless his soul, O’ poor fellow

Abandoned his tears on the pillows
Estranged his shattered life, O’ poor fellow
Bore the brunt of a runway love
Broke through the kisses, O’ poor fellow

Told himself there’s another day to pass
A better day to begin with, O’ poor fellow
For the world, the world’s not shallow
If he will, O’ poor fellow

Turned up at my door today
Begged please let me in again
O’ poor fellow

Just another spontaneous poem I thought of sharing. Good day!
